Coral Finder - Indo Pacific
The Coral Finder is a coral reef guide book which allows students to identify coral down to the genus. It comes with a magnifying glass, underwater writing slate and has a ruler incorporated into it. Students measure the coral, choose a key group and then refer to a look-alike page to identify the coral.

If you are able to get access to a coral reef, it may be worth ordering some supplies from Coral Watch to make your activities more meaningful. The Coral Health Chart from Coral Watch allow students to compare the colours of corals to determine their health. The Coral Watch website gives students access to data about coral reefs from around the world.
